About Our Foundation

Texan Sprouts was founded in 2023. We are a non-profit organization that helps the native plants of Texas and stops them from becoming extinct. We mainly focus on the Round Rock, Austin, and Cedar Park areas. This foundation works through volunteers and donations. Texan Sprouts has created fun and interesting programs for anyone to join.

Our Vision

We at Texan Sprouts believe that we should focus more on saving native plants.

We also work to make sure our activities are fun and engaging for everyone.

Why do we do this?

Native plants here in Texas give many benefits to the ecosystem and us, such as:

Naturally conserves water (Drought-tolerant)
Natural to their ecosystem, and gives a habitat to native animals
Helps us maintain the biological biodiversity
Fertilizing or pampering is not required

Our solution

Our foundation is working hard to continue activities and sales to spread awareness about this problem. We encourage many people to learn more about plants and perhaps garden by themselves as well. We also support plant sanctuaries like the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center.
